Description

At the heart of this blend is Avataa's internationally award-winning White Tea — grown in the high elevations of the Nilgiri Mountains of the Western Ghats, hand-selected from pubescence-rich Camellia sinensis, and minimally crafted to preserve its natural delicacy. That award-winning tea is now delicately blended with lavender and rose petals, adding an elegant floral lift without masking its refined, naturally mellow character.

  • Award: Won in its pure form, unblended, at the North American Tea Competition, 2017
  • Leaf: Fine natural silvery down, hand-handled to preserve delicacy
  • Blend: Lavender for aromatic lift, rose for subtle floral nuance — both complement rather than overpower
  • Cup: Bright, clear, pale golden-yellow liquor
  • Taste: Smooth, silky, low astringency, clean floral finish
Ingredients

The Art of Steeping

The Master Brewer’s Ritual

1 tsp (2g) per cup

Use one teaspoon of loose-leaf tea for every 200ml of water, giving the leaves room to unfold and release their flavour.

85–90°C water

Use freshly heated water at the ideal temperature to gently extract the tea’s natural aroma, flavour, and character.

2–3 minutes

Steep for 2–3 minutes, then strain and enjoy. Adjust the time to discover the flavour profile you prefer.

"We do not simply cultivate tea. We tend a mountain, and let it decide what it wishes to become."
